Haven't install them yet but here they are. I looked at the invoice and ordered the SEL thresholds expecting to cut them down. I let Adsit know about my intensions at the time of the order. When the thresholds arrived they were the right leingth.

Looks like I'll just need to remove the flat portion of the plastric threshold plate and the lip on the outside. I'll leave the hump that covers the inner part of the threshold. Also I'l need to under cut that piece so that the flat part of the stainless threshold plate will slip inder.

I'll post pics later.

If it's not broke it dosen't have enough features.

Got the thresholds installed. After removing the existing pieces I scraped off the old glue and cleaned with laquor thinner. Once cleaned I removed the covering on the double sided tape and stuck the thresholds in place. If the tape fails it would be easy to drill a couple of holes and secure the thresholds with some chrome counter sunk screws.

The new door sills sure dress up the car.

Factory rubber W108/109 door sills are still available from Mercedes-Benz and would keep your car looking original.

Adsit does not have the best reputation and is avoided by many. There are better vendors, including the MB Classic Center.
