1972 280se 4.5 Heater control levers

Is there anyone in the NY/NJ area that I can go to to get those darn heater/fan lever replacements installed? How much should this cost? I see the levers on ebay for like $130 but how much should installation be?

Thanks for the help.

It's not a fun job, I would charge in the range of $500 for it, not including the barrels/repair kits.

Some of them are too far gone to repair, and they break either due to sticky cables or rotted plastic barrels that the levers mount into, if it's the type I am thinking of.

You will probably need to replace a few cables as well, so the price will keep going up until you get all the problems sorted.

Good luck!
