Selling 72 250 sedan, what should I ask?

My buddy and I are selling his 1972 250 4dr 6cyl dual carb, 160K miles.
This is an Arizona car so rust is not an issue. Thinking about eBay as well as craigslist. Not sure what to ask as a starting point.

This car was owned by an old timer car dealer and sat on his lot and in garage from around 1980 until he passed and left it to my buddy who has kept it in his garage since. Has been well maintained for the past 30 years, never used as a driver all those years but only started once every week or two and driven a few miles so as to keep in good running order. Our personal mechanic has the engine in emaculate running condition. I've driven it once and it purrs and with the dual carbs has amazing acceleration. Paint is original silver and still looks good but with some wear fading. Interior (black) has some cracking as does dash. With a paint job and new interior this car would be like new.

Wondering what it's worth and what a good starting point asking price would be. Also any suggestions of other places online to advertise it would be helpful. I appreciate any help anyone could give.

Thanks!

How has Arizona treated the interior? Does the heater heat? Does the AC work? I suspect that it is going to fetch a bit less than you want.

As I mentioned the dash has some cracking as do seats but this car was maintained, not used, by a millionaire car dealer and then my friend for almost 30 years, stored inside. Don't think more than 3000 miles put on it in that time.

Air and heater work, engine great, tranny great. Body clean.

The problem is "with a paint job and interior the car would be like new". If the existing paint is decent if somewhat faded and if the car really runs well incl AC and heat (more people say that these work and then discover that they don't) then I would guess you are looking at a $3000 - $4000 car. A cracked interior is a minus, but not that difficult to find an un-cracked interior (outside of Arizona at least). If the paint is really not presentable, I would say you are looking at a $1500 car...

I know of a pretty nice 1971 230 4 door with a dead engine, decent paint, nice interior, complete that can be bought for $300 right now...
