I love genuine turbine wheels, like the ones you used to see in DTM racing until the early '90s or so.

I find this amusing because apparently the heart knows what it likes even if the brain doesn't. I used to lust after a friend's E24 635csi and I got to drive an L6 once, one of the greatest memories of my youth. I was actually considering buying one when I found my W111 coupe, only to just tonight realize that Paul Bracq designed both cars out of the handful he is responsible for! What are the odds?!?!

The W111 coupe is possibly the most beautiful of the "modern" postwar designs.
