Give it a good cleaning & a wash. Eventhough it was in a container, salt air gets everywhere.

If it's not broke it dosen't have enough features.

Send it back... to me! ...and then you can sleep well again.

Joking aside though, yes definitely give it a thorough detail in & out... R&R all filters and fluids (stick with MB spec fluids in your owner's manual or in FSM). Check all power and non-power accessories. Get under the car and inspect everywhere for leaks, rust (if any), etc... I'm sure there's more so stay tuned for others to chime in. And don't forget to post pics... Congrats also!

Take a full gas can with you. Most shippers require that you drain fluids before they are allowed on board.

Buy some cool shades for the drive home. Take a set of plates too, or a temp permit.

Ship it to the middle east, where it's dry and sunny. I'll care for it for you!
