OK, so help me to take stock - you get no heat from the heater core, and the blower motor doesn't work, right?
With the controls placed in such a way as to allow hot water to flow into the core, and the car in motion (air being forced over the core), does heat come out? That stated, are you sure the core is bad? (it's a BEAR to replace).
For the blower, it wouldn't surprise me if yours was bad, but before you dig into the dash and pull things apart, eliminate the obvious - check fuses and the like. Any obvious wires hanging down?
If you're strapped for time and can't dig into the dash, consider what the previous owner of my 108 did - hook up a computer coolant fan to a cigarette plugin (same voltage) and place it (or them) on the windshield vents. The guy was a computer engineer
Or, go to a parts store and get one of those plugin heater things - they go for about $20 a piece. Maybe not enough to warm the car regularly, but enough to keep the windshield from fogging over.
