On the USA spec the later w114's, the control knob ( dial ) for the interior ventilation blower had a wide "foot" which showed 4 speed settings. The European models had a simple knob with a green arrow and there were only 3 speed settings.
Question : Were the knobs on the USA models backlit ? Can a european w114 be retrofitted with a USA setup ? If so, what would be required ? ( Parts, wiring etc ) . Where can I get such parts ? What are the MB partnumbers ?
