If power comes through to all 3 points, then the switch, cabels and connectors are fine.
Then the problem sits either in the resistor-box or the fan itself..
My fan was stuck to the degree that when I tried moving it, the contact-points were ripped out of the sockets and made some "not so funny" noises..
Luckily I had a spare fan.. Not the best fan on speed 1, but speed 2 and 3 works very well, so a few drops of oil on the axle and some runnin-time should fix it I hope.

I'm taking the grille off currently, and I'm having an issue. It seems to be held on by the wiper blades (no problem), and 5 plastic plug style pressure clips. I'm wondering if there's a trick I don't know for getting these off, because my only proven method with the two I got so far was to break them.
They seem like they would be pretty easy to replace, so I'm not too worried about those two, but a trick to make this easier would be appreciated - I don't want to chip my paint up.
There's a small plastic pin in the centre of the plastic plugs that hold the grille.. About 1,5mm i diameter. Carefully push the pins in.. Then pull the rest of the plastic plug out..
No problem. Glad to be of help..
I was a bit stumped the first time myself.(Same type of plastic plugs in the glove-box actually)
Usually, most of the plastic-pins are lost after pushing them in.. But if you do it gently, you should catch some on the lower part of the "gutter"..
Good luck !
Well, I cracked it open and the fan moves. Shot some WD-40 in there and spun it a few times, but it still won't move on its own. So, I assume I need to tear apart and replace. When ordering parts, do I need the entire fan assembly or can I leave the fan that's in there?
If the fan moves, then it could be two things..
The resistor-box, where the speed is adjusted.. Try bypassing it, and go directly to the fan motor. If it works then, then you "only" need to replace the "box"..
Or, the contact-points or the "coils" on the motor have burned, and the fan needs replacing.
