1959 Mercedes 219S Valuation

So I am thinking about buying a 1959 Mercedes 219S. It is a resto project. No rust on it whatsoever! It's a beautiful car! If I did a ground up restoration on this, every nut and bolt. What are they worth?

Look around on our Ponton Page - lots of good info as well as a link to our ponton discussion group (IPOG). We've got about 800 owners of these cars with lots of expertise. Your 219 is going to be worth a whole lot less than whatever you spend to restore it, so don't even think about turning a profit on it. Best guess is that at most it will bring $15K if pristine, more likely $10K or less if nice. Decent drivers can be had for $5K.
