i will be getting a 3.5 coupe and wanted to change the front lights or lens so that it looks like french cars

the yellow lens, were can i look for them? are they rare? any pics

1. W123 lights aren't going to fit a 3.5 coupe
2. France stopped doing the yellow light thing
3. If you are talking about finding anything that is a big yellow glass lens, I think you can pretty much forget it at this point...

Currently: 1967 250 SL, 1963 220Sb, 1965 300SE Lang, 1971 280SE parts car, 1972 Alfa GTV, 1965 Alfa Duetto, 1993 BMW R100R
Past: 1971 250 C, 1985 300 TD, 1967 250 S, 1968 280 S,1981 300 D, 1982 280CE, 3 Facel Vegas, Borgward Isabella Coupe, Alfa 2600 Sprint, Volvo P1900 (yes), numerous less interesting Volvos, ...

ds58: there are some for sale on the French EBay right now:

phare us mercedes en vente sur eBay.fr (fin le 20-oct.-09 18:38:20 Paris)

Funnily enough what you call french look is called there US style in reference to the stacked headlights versus the one big Euro headlight.

You may also get some yellow beams that would fit your purpose looking into BMW adds, as they also had yellow lights.

Yeah, I think the yellow vinyl transparent overlay may be just the thing for you, I've used it on motorcycles and it goes on pretty easy and is durable. Later.
