Oh I'm sorry, this goes on the OUTSIDE of a 30 year old pitted halogen glass....guys do it right get the French yellow halogens. If they sell for 30 euros in France that's a steal, I got to admit they look good, but do it right and don't cheapen it up. If you want cheap get a Peugot 505.

french look

Hey Leenart, I am taking it you think because I made a suggestion that somehow I must run a fully pimped mercedes. I do think the yellow headlights
are unique and I like the look. However I guess you are the style police on
this forum and we should never stray outside the "stock" look. I think
you should "lighten" up....

The Euro W111's headlamp is of course the big single globe, for most of the world markets, it housed all in one the hi/low beam, parking/city light, blinker AND The Fog lamp. Thus for most markets, those cars did not even have a separate blinker/fog lamp mounted on the front nose, they did not need it, Those globes were never made in Amber if I am correct, but the headlamp and the fog lamp BULBS were in amber, of which you can still buy, but if you want to keep the USA style 4 X 5 3/4" lights, you can replace them with amber lens housings or you can buy H4 Hella or bosch or Cibie lamps that will plug right in and use the amber H4 bulbs inside them..You have lots of choices, just depends on the look you want and how much $$$$$$$$$ you want to spend... IMHO, the Euro single globe lamp with Amber bulbs is the coolest way to go, because you can see the Amber reflecting inside the clear glass globe even when the lights are off, during the day..thats what I had in my W111 coupe 220SE years ago.. a really nice French look...
