Fuel in crank case of 73 450 slc

I recently inherited a 1973 450SLC from my Brother-in-Law. It had not been started in a year.
It will not start. It is over fueling badly and fills the crank with fuel.

Check the fuel pressure regulator. It is the diaphragm on the fuel rail with a vacuum connection on the back. Look at the vacuum line first, it may be rotted or leaking. The next thing I would do is to remove the injectors, all of them and see if any of them are stuck and not closing. Crank it over with the injectors removed, and lay them on a towel over the engine. Make sure to buy new seals for the bottoms before you re-install them. Look for ones that are continuously spraying. Another would be the cold start injector.
