67 250se/c alternator wiring Question

Hey guys,
Is anyone familiar with the alternator wiring on a 67 250se coupe? I have the alternator which has the triangular shaped plug (with round/cylindrical connectors --not the 3 flat connectors) .... I also have an external voltage regulator.... the car was taken apart for refurbishing/customiziation and is now being put back together....besides the 3 wires that connect with that plug (DF, D+, D-) are there any other wires that supposed to go into the alternator? If so, where are they supposed to go from the alternator, where do they lead exactly and how? I am asking this 'cause I noticed today there is a terminal with a nut that looks like it should have a wire going to it from????

Cheers

I believe that's where the large wire that connects to the battery via a connection at the starter goes. There is a smaller terminal that is sometimes used for a ground strap.
