W115 1974 240D Veggie Oil Conversion

I've found lots of info on converting the W123 300D but was hoping someone here may have done a conversion on a W115 and could share the right points to cut into the coolant and fuel lines. I converted a W124 300D a few years ago so I have some experience.

Thanks, Paul.

I tried a conversion on my 1976 W115 and ruined a full set of injectors and stranded the car at the beach. Fortunately the police were nice to allow me to park it there overnight so I could tow it the next day.

Sure you can try converting it but the car was not designed for it so you're cheating the car of the fuel it was designed for (petro diesel). If you're lucky you can make your money back and break even but if you factor in the time (assuming you're not an attorney billing $600 an hour) then it's not worth it when you're stranded with a inoperable motor with caked rings and a full injector rebalancing.

WVO = bad
Biodiesel = awesome

DO NOT RUN YOUR W115 ON VEGGY OIL!!!! You will only cause you engine to die a slow painful death..

That motor was designed to run on diesel, not WVO.
