Please help me decide..

Between the three cars that i'm interested in.

1967 250se - Very good condition - Silver+ red Interior

1970 280s- Very good condition- Navy blue+ red Interior

1972 280se 3.5 Sedan- Very good condition- White+ Blue Interior

All have documented history. All auto trans.

I need advice on rarity, popularity, etc..

1970 280S. Much easier to maintain in the long run. Parts are plentiful and a quite simple engine. Mileage is just as good or better than the other two. Color combination is better for re-sale.

I disagree; only a small pool of buyers really like the blue/red combo. What car you buy depends on what you're going to do with it. If it's a town toy, then the sixes will do. If it's a car you plan on taking long distances, then you're better off with the eight.

For me, I'd rather have the 3.5 than the sixes; less room in the engine bay to work on it, but that doesn't mean it isn't serviceable. Plus, shoot for a fuel injected model. You should decide what you want to do with it, then pick a car that fits that lifestyle.

Thanks for the input.

To be honest, I want to keep the car for a long time, probably pass off onto the kids.
It really won't be used much, maybe a weekend driver.

Anymore suggestions?

Go for the 3.5 Engine is easy to work on, parts are plentiful and it's got more power then the sixes.
