I disagree; only a small pool of buyers really like the blue/red combo. What car you buy depends on what you're going to do with it. If it's a town toy, then the sixes will do. If it's a car you plan on taking long distances, then you're better off with the eight.
For me, I'd rather have the 3.5 than the sixes; less room in the engine bay to work on it, but that doesn't mean it isn't serviceable. Plus, shoot for a fuel injected model. You should decide what you want to do with it, then pick a car that fits that lifestyle.
