Can bakelite steering wheel be repaired?

Hi All,

I just got a pretty nice bakelite steering wheel. Its just a small chip (which to my standard is quite annoying).

I wonder if bakelite material (in this case steering wheel) - can be repaired? Does anyone know? If it can be done - anyone got information who and where?

Thank you all,
Josh

Based in Australia but you can mail your wheel to them for work. They seem to be well regarded and you can see some of their work on the link I provided.
