1976 300D will not start

Last week I inherited a non-running 1976 300D from a friend. The car is in good cosmetic condition but has not been started in 3 months. According to my friend it died out while driving down the freeway and hasn't been touched since.

Last night I refilled it with oil (there was no oil left in the car after sitting for 3 months due to a small oil leak) and recharged the battery. On the 3rd try I was able to get the engine started but it quickly died out.

Unfortunately this morning, I have not been able to get the engine to turn over. I tried jump starting from my 190D with no luck. I even tried installing the battery from my 190D (a method that had worked many months before on this car) and still the car would not turn over.

I'm assuming there must be a fuel line problem. Does anyone have any suggestion where to start?

Does the engine crank? "turn over" meaning it's siezed or spinning?

It's probably a fuel line drawing air. I dunno but that specific IP is terrible to prime.

Check to make sure all the hoses are tight and that there are no air bubbles anywhere. Some air in the clear inline filter is okay, you just don't want any trapped in the feed lines. You need a fresh BIG battery and crank the engine with someone pushing on the fuel plunger as fast as possible to get fuel to the injectors. It will start eventually.
