Clutch master cylinders

Hi all I have the 65 220S and the 65 220SE both need clutch master cylinders among other things. These can be seen on photobucket here. crashdaddio - Photobucket - Video and Image HostingThese have proven difficult to locate and very expensive. My thoughts are to adapt an aftermarket master cylinder from a spec class racing car that has similar parameters. These are inexpensive and of high quality and meet stringent racing standards which to me means that they should hold up well. Fabricating the bracket to bolt in the original mount is no problem as is the ease of adapting the pressure line. Does anybody have any thoughts on this other than the fact that my babies wont be all original. Thanks Crash
