1965 220SE 1965 220 S

Hi everyone just purchased a 1965 220S and a 1965 220 SE in rough but running condition. I wish to restore them for daily use the S model door is for my daughter and her new family the 2 door SE FI 4speed is for me. Any hints tips info warnings are appreciated. These are my first Mercedes they are beautiful and I am kind of excited to get started. Thanks Crash

That is quite an adventure you are going on with a pair id 220's.
These can break the bank depending on what you wish to do.

If you post some pictures of your car, inside, outside, under it etc...

will give people a better idea on where to point you.

goodluck!

I have some exterior photos of the cars will post asap, will get other pertinent info in next few days. At the moment I am looking for a clutch master cylinder or a rebuild kit, and chassis wiring diagrams. The 4 door started today,I intend to drive it home. The 2 door has FI and is slightly more intimidating that one will be towed to my shop. Given time I will have it running as well. Look forward to any info the members have Thanks Crash
