According to NADA.com, a 300 is worth anywhere from $14,650 to $33,600. The site only lists 300D and 300SL models though. I'm not familiar with Benzes of those years, so I'm assuming you have a diesel?

"D" on 300D does not mean diesel. It means it's the fourth iterration, i.e. A, B, C and then D.

The 300A was just called a 300. Then comes the B, C and finally the D.

I am confused... no idea what caar you are asking about. If the plate on the radiator support panel starts with 112, then it is a finnie. Go to 300se dot org (can't write web names in this post) to see if your car looks like these.
If it is a finnie, then condition means a lot. You could try the Google heckflosse group for advice, as they are a pretty active group.
Cheers,

We're talking the 300d Adenaur limo. A running, driving example starts at 15k unless it's so butt ugly that you'd rather part it out.

A dead one can be as cheap as 3k, but usually not much cheaper than that unless somebody has already cannibalized it.

Be nice to that car. If you have one and want to fix it, replacement parts are incredibly expensive. If you have one and want to sell it, just describe it correctly here, fleabay and and one or two other sites and you'll have a dozen offers in a week.

PS. Nada values are the most useless things in the world. No reason on earth to quote them.

Not part of the in-crowd since 1952. It's BRAKES not breaks. You break a bone, use brakes to stop your car. /rant
