Crankshaft oil-seal renewal

I've started dismantling my engine now, due to restoration. It's a 923 engine.
As I see it, there is quite substantional oil-leaking from the front and rear oil-seals.. And therefore, I want to renew them.

I've read some procedures on this subject, and I'm no unsure on how to proceed.
I don't know which front balancing disc I have, but I guess it's the original from 1973.
But as I see it the front crankshaft seal ring has been widened from 9 to 11mm to improve sealing.. And thus, the balancing wheel has been reduced from 28mm flange thickness to 26mm..
I hope that this doesn't mean that I HAVE TO buy a new balancing wheel as well as a new seal ??
Couldn't I just use the old one ??

It's number 12, in these pics.

And, my engine is numbered 115923-10-082195
