250se w108 elec. windows off track

Hey when i got her only the driver's side window was working and it sounds like the motor in or one or two of the others is alright. Yesterday the driver's side wouldn't roll up it sounds like it's just off track since it was working just fine slightly slow but not real bad at all. So now I feel even stronger that the others are just off track as well as this one. I took off the interior door panels in the back to get a looksee and it looks real tough to get to the motor and I can barely see any window components. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get them back on track? Thanks!

had similar issue in my '68 250SE.
The problems are two fold:
1. there is a rubber connector between the window motor and the transmission. These connectors were either broken or cracked (about to break) and have all been replaced.
good luck getting them through the aftermarket. I got mine from the local Benz dealer.
The Benz part number is: 0008210226 and are called "connector". These will run you about $21 per piece. I bought mine 6 weeks ago and there were 56 left in the US at the time.

Second - there may be a misalignment between the window movement gear and the lever arm. This is easily adjusted.

the removal is a pain in the a$$. you will have to disconnect the window at the bottom from the lifter arm. use strong tape to prevent the window from falling down. Then you can move the lifter arm down and remove the lifter assembly from the door to perform servicing.

Excellent thank you very much! I hope it's a misalignment problem would much rather do the work. I need to get in there anyways and do some thorough cleaning and such. I'll let you know how it goes.
