Looking for master cylinder for '77 450 sel

I am looking for a master cylinder for a '77 450sel. I was told that mine is bad. The car builds up pressure on the front brakes and applies them without pressing on the brake pedal. Can anyone tell me if this is a master cylinder problem? Thanks.

Sounds like the same problem I have in my 73 W115..
I dismantled the master cylinder, and found all gaskets to be reheeeaaally soft..
Also, the brake 'accumulator'? Was filled up with 3-4 deciliters of brake fluid.
Another symptom I had was this: Stop the car, stop the engine. Press the brake pedal repeatedly until the accumulator has no more pressure. Then press and hold the brakepedal while starting the engine.. ... ... Does the brake pedal sink slightly down ?
Mine didn't..

You can pick those up at Napa or Autozone rebuilt for around $50.
