The studs I used have a blind sholder so they all go in a uniform ammount. Then they are secured with lock-tite so they don't come out with the lug nut.

Wheel Studs

Looking to upgrade to some newer alloy wheels on my 72 280se. What is the max wheel and tire size can run? Also anyone know where can get some wheel studs? I've been looking online and haven't been able to find any.

To resurrect this thread, can someone please tell me whether AMG Aero I mono block 8x17 Et11 (W126 stamping) would work on a W108 4.5?

The site linked in post number two of this thread says they are perfect fit.

What I would like to know is what tire sizes with what offsets fit. That's what it normally comes down to, tire size and offset.

Will 245/50/16 on et11 fit rear?
Will 225/54/16 on et11 fit front?

... Of w108 1973 280se 4.5 ?
