You have to ask yourself: If they're such a great resto shop, then why don't they restore it? Another red flag is in their terms. "A non refundable $2000.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction." Better go see it before you bid or live close by or you're going to be stuck with something they won't waste their time on.
From what I can see in the photos:
The bumpers are off a 68 or newer car, possibly a sedan, not a coupe.
The mirror on the fenders and the turn signals in the headlight bezels indicate a euro car, possibly French or Italian market, nothing to be concerned about.
Looks like rust is bubbling up behind the right rear wheel well.
One piece hubcaps off a 68 or later car.
The only thing I can tell about the interior is that the headliner is shot and the dash has been cut out for a larger radio. Interesting to note the they suddenly forgot how to use the camera when it came to the interior and under hood shot.
Even if this car was in very good running order and the above problems didn't exist this car wouldn't fetch their asking price, not a 220. MAYBE a 280 would.
I've seen some reasonable looking cars on ebay that turned out to be real dogs in person so I'm guessing this is a $4,000 car. If an inspection doesn't reveal major underbody rot, that is.
These guys are fishing for suckers.
