M180 Cylinder Head

After cleaning up my dads warehouse(he used to be a Merc parts trader, now retired) I found this cylinder head with the number 180-016-2301 on it. Any clues on what car is it for? It's brand new, just the odd scratch here and there from the very long storage.

The combustion chamber shape suggests an early M180 head, possibly from a Ponton or early Fintail. Maybe others will know exactly.

I'm overhauling the engine from my M180 so I'm familiar.

Not part of the in-crowd since 1952. It's BRAKES not breaks. You break a bone, use brakes to stop your car. /rant
