Period Correct Leather Key Holders for vintage MBs

I got one of these leather MB key holders off of eBay about a year ago after a buddy of mine bought one for his W123 key. I received it in an unopened "Genuine Mercedes-Benz" plastic bag. I didn't know it was a real MB item until then, I previously thought it was a high quality aftermarket product. It had no part number on it, but MB accessories don't always have part numbers on them.

So tonight, I'm screwing around on the EPC, and I actually found the leather key holder listed as p/n 108-890-06-61. The "108" prefix means that it first appeared between 1965 and 1973. Though, it's period correct accesory for pretty much any MB that had a production run beginning in 1959 or later through 1995, as the p/n search shows it being available on models as old as the W111 (1959-1972) and models as new as the W202, R129, and W140 up to the end of the 1995 model year run. After that, I think the shape of the MB key changed to accomate the integrated lock/unlock remotes and flip style keys, and would not allow for the use of this key holder

I don't know if it's readily available at the dealer, or how much it'll cost, but my eBay find was less than $20 before shipping. It's also good for preventing failure of the ignition tumbler and ignition lock assembly. The frequent cause of them failing is not just brass keys, but key chains loaded with numerous keys being too heavy and causing stress on the tumbler and assembly. This leads to failure of the key to turn, and is a VERY costly repair to get the broken cylinder drilled out if you can't get the key to the #1 position.

Here's a photo of mine.
