Well, the blue bombshell is getting some engine tune-up, then hubby will start with the sanding... I think once she is sanded and primered, she'll feel like a new car.

We went pricing today, and are waiting for the 'local' MB parts place to find wheel cylinders and the headlamp bulb.

I'll go out and take some more pics though, to add to my webpage detailing the work on the old gal.

Actually, for you, it is just about as easy as a trip to Auto Zone. You need to deal with Rusty Collins with Buy MB Parts out of Atlanta, GA. You can reach them at (770) 452-7320. I'd give you the URL, but the forum won't let me post it. Must think I'm breaking the SPAM rules.

Also Mercedes is very dedicated to keeping their mechanicals running. You can still get all the parts you need to completely rebuild just about anything but the body direct from the dealer. Though, probably more expensive than Rusty.

There is also a company .... out of Oregon I think, I'll have to root around in my bookmarks and find them again, that can completely rebuild the gauge cluster for the W110/W111 dash.

I've got the front left upper/lower bumper and 3/4 of a rear (missing one of the uppers) bumper for that exact car if you need them. I was planning on listing on eBay next week. They are solid cores for re-chroming or good for a rough driver.
