What a classic beauty for sale

Look at this. ******** Beautiful Classic Mercedes Diesel ****** Contact Info Updated
1970 Mercedes 220D, 134,000 Miles, Runs Great,
38 years and I can see only single rip on the seats. If I wouldn't already have 1997 diesel for my youngest son, I would go for this classic.

Needs a bit more...

than the grille mesh worked on... A/C appears non-operational [missing belt] and this is a R-12 system. Head rests and original radio missing, console louvered inserts broken, etc. Solid looking body.

Cost of the car: $2,999

Cost of bringing it up to snuff: $1,000+

The look of panic on the owner's face as he trys to merge into fast moving traffic from a steep uphill on-ramp: "priceless".

YMMV,

JR

The real deal...

is where you spend the dollars. Open this page, scroll down to the 280SE ,then have a look at this and tell me you have seen better in recent times.

That is around 35,834.78 USD, according to XE dot com. That's a lot of dough. It is pretty, though.

For that kind of money...

here in the States I could pick up a pretty nice 6.3...

Granted that the 280SE is very nice and has extremely low mileage, but that is one huge asking price, IMHO.
