Okay, another 108 seat removal question

Hello all,

I'm trying to remove the driver seat on my 108 (280SEL). I lowered the seat, slid the seat back, and removed the front bolts from bolts with no problem. However I can't tell how to unattach the rear. Tthe slider is mounted to a pedestal of sorts. It looks like the pedestal is mounted by these round nuts or something. (No hex to the nut) am I missing something? Or do I have to remove the slider from the pedestal?

you need to remove the whole pedestal.
Look inside the 'foot' of the pedestal
One screw in outer foot of the pedestal goes outwards into the frame
The inner to the bottom AFAIK

The heads are only 10mm ,and the Outside pedestal has a bolt that screws into the rocker box. one on each seat only.
