Heater problems

I have a 1980 300SD and a few days ago the climate contro panel just stoped working. I push a button and get nothing. One person told me that he thought it was the servo (replacement cost $2,000.00) which was located on the firewall in the engine compartment. I checked all of the fuses and all seem to be fine. Does anyone else have a SWAG?

Sounds like...

it may well be the servo. I would take the car to an A/C specialty shop and get it checked out. The servo was used on a range of models over more than a decade, so finding a good used one might be a possibility.

Good luck,

If it turns out to be the Servo (not unlikely), we offer replacement units for a heck of a lot less than $2000.
