Remove the soft pad in the center of the steering wheel.The date the car was finished on the production line will be stamped or printed in white on either the steering wheel boss or in the hub where it's fitted to the column. The info that 'german star' printed up is your cars history as held by Daimler Benz so i would say it's a 1980 280 SE with a m110 engine.it was sold new in Aachen which is west Germany, so it must be an imported old secondhand car from Germany.
