New W108 Owner...Source for W108 Door and Window Seals?
I just bought my first Mercedes this weekend, a gorgeous 1973 280SE 4.5.
The car has only 84,000 miles, and is in excellent original condition. Except for the rubber, that is. It's still got the original window and door seals, which are cracking and in need of replacement.
I've done a number of searches, but I've not found a good source for these. Anyone have a pointer to a supplier?
I'm having the same issue with my 1968 230. The window tracking and seals are all bad or going bad. I checked with a couple places and got a quote for around $450 PER DOOR for the window tracking ALONE! Whoa folks, I know Mercedes parts are pricey compared to some other brands, but that's a little out of line.
The trunk, windshield (front and rear) and door seals run about $75 apiece for my car.
Wonder if one could find some generic window tracking that are high enough quality for these cars?

We can sell a 20 meter roll of window track for $350. That's enough for 2 cars (8 doors). Find someone else who needs some and go 50/50. Window track is the same for all sedans of that era.
We also carry the other seals you're looking for far less. Call or shoot me a PM for details.
