190d or 190dc? 1963?
Hi Guys,
I working on my 2nd and 3rd mercedes purchase in 1 year. I have the opportunity to purchase a 190d and 190c model for $400 each. Both run and drive, the 190d needs body work, tires and some interior work as it was a daily driver till being parked 4 years ago. The 190c has very bad body from rust and collision damage, but the interior, glass and upper body chrome is pretty decent and it runs.
My question is, the owner claims that they are both 1963 models, but the listing has the 190d stopping in 1962. Did mercedes just not add the c to any script that year? Also some of the other guys have simular models with different rear lights. Is the difference because this car is a canadian model?
