Why I own "OLD MERCEDES BENZ"

Today,
I replaced the factory original starter, engine mounts and subframe mounts on my 1970 220D....The starter started failing about 6 months ago when hot but never got around to it..the suframe mounts were pretty bad,the engine mounts had compressed about 1 inch, but the truck still ran fairly well down the street....Next on the list is the Factory Flex Discs and have the recently failed speedo rebuilt....I have no idea about the Mileage it reads 86,000 miles....which right off the bat is wrong as this is a true euro delivery so it should be in Kilometers.....

"I don't know anything for a fact",but have lots of opinions that might or might not pan out!
