Tech stuff

Where can I find a website which will give me information on the 114/115 body, e.g., length, width, wheelbase, etc.? Appreciate some help because I can't find anything.

Not a lot of 114/115 enthusiast sites. I likely have some information you're looking for either in a repair manual or my "standard catalog of imported cars" if you can't find it any other way.

I really enjoyed my 115 300D... pretty much a one-year combo.

114/115

Bill:
Thanks so much for replying to my request; I have received no other replies. I just want to find out the following on the 114/115 body MB (four-door sedan): length, width, weight and wheelbase. If you have that info, I'd be very grateful if you could share it with me. Thanks again for replying.

Weight of a 1975 115 240D was 3100lbs; a 300D was 3340.

Wheelbase 108.3". Length overall 195.5". Height 56.7".Width: 69.7". Front tread: 57". Rear Tread 56.7"

All per the Standard Catalog of Imported Cars, one of my favorite and most used reference books.

Bill: Thanks a great big bunch---appreciate the information. Does your information list the weight of the car? Hope so, if you don't mind replying again.

Weight of a 1975 115 240D was 3100lbs; a 300D was 3340lbs. I would think petrol models would be a bit lighter... and earlier models of any fuel type also a bit lighter.

Not part of the in-crowd since 1952. It's BRAKES not breaks. You break a bone, use brakes to stop your car. /rant
