450 slc amg 1978 need information to built replica

I am already doing a boehringer pagoda replica and I am doing a 1978 450 slc amg AMG-MAMPE-LUFTHANSA RACE car group 2 replica.

I am looking for informations about that car, informations where I can source parts like suspension, original bbs mags, camshaft, what kind of modification they did on the head cylinder, kind of piston etc, modifications of the engine, injection etc...

I have a 500slc with 14k miles on it. It has the AMg package with bbs rims. I can send you pics if you want.

Well there's a book you could get that tells a lot about that car.
AMG Reaching for the Stars Just google and buy. ENG ver.
But to really find out the tec. stuff you'll have to getg into AMG Private Lounge I've seen a lot there about that car.
