How to check condition of glow plug?
What is the proper way to check the condition of the 110 series diesel glow plug? These are from a 1966 200D. This is the style with large glow plugs and appears to have series wiring. AFTER I tried to check across a 12 volt battery without any results, I realized these plugs may not be suitable for 12 volts. THEN I read the fine print on the glow plug and see it is marked 0.9 V. I assume this is 0.9 volts.
Anyone able to tell ne how to properly test these glow plugs?
