Free admission to the MB Museum with MB ClubCard

Special service for members of Mercedes-Benz clubs:
Free admission to the Mercedes-Benz Museum for Mercedes-Benz ClubCard holders

Stuttgart – From August 1, 2007, holders of the Mercedes-Benz ClubCard are granted free admission to the Mercedes-Benz Museum. With this decision, the premium card, created in 2005 and available to all members of the 70 plus Mercedes-Benz clubs around the world, has been upgraded still further.

Michael Bock, Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz Museum GmbH: “The members of our accredited Mercedes-Benz Clubs are well familiar with our unique heritage. It is therefore most gratifying to see that the Mercedes-Benz ClubCard now entitles them to free admission to the Mercedes-Benz Museum.”

The Mercedes-Benz ClubCard serves as a club identity card; featuring the portraits of Gottlieb Daimler and Karl Benz, it is uniformly designed for all clubs around the world – the only difference being the clearly discernible club logo that is printed on for each individual club.

However, the card’s function as a club identity card is just one facet. For the Mercedes-Benz ClubCard holders, the advantages associated with the card in everyday life are far more important – advantages which the club management negotiated and agreed with well over 200 companies. Substantial discounts, preferential service and access to privileges at many events are some of the benefits of the Mercedes-Benz ClubCard which is issued to members via the Mercedes-Benz clubs. In addition to free admission to the Mercedes-Benz Museum, club members are granted 20 percent discount on virtually all articles in the museum shops. A growing number of international hotels charge reduced overnight accommodation prices to Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts upon presentation of the Mercedes-Benz ClubCard.

For owners of rare vehicles, genuine replacement parts are of primary importance. The Mercedes-Benz ClubCard supports owners in two ways in procuring the vital parts and assemblies for their classic cars. First of all, it helps save time and trouble in that card holders have online access to an extensive list of dealer addresses. Secondly, it reduces the costs of the restoration, repair and maintenance of the automotive gems in that their owners are granted discounts on replacement parts and services by cooperating parts dealers and restorers. Since 2006, as many as 45,000 Mercedes-Benz club members have been holding and using the uniform Mercedes-Benz ClubCard.

What’s more, the Mercedes-Benz ClubCard is also the key to the “Mercedes-Benz ClubLounge” on the internet, a multi-media network for all card holders. Under Mercedes-Benz Club Management everything revolves around the Mercedes-Benz brand. This also includes access to various discussion and information forums. Access to the Mercedes-Benz ClubLounge can be gained by using the Mercedes-Benz ClubCard ID for registration.
