Does anyone know how much vacumm these cars need to operate correctly?
I installed a vacumm pump kit and I'm getting about 4 - 5 lbs of vacumm and the shut off valve isn't shutting the car off. Thanks! Clark

When I pump my handheld vacuum pump which I attached to the shut off valve, it shuts off right away. I've replaced the lines from the ignition switch valve on the ignition switch and installed a new valve there as well. The rest of my lines hold vacuum just fine when I test them, so I think everything is okay. I'm thinking my rebuilt vacuum pump just isn't generating enough vacuum pressure to operate the fuel shut off correctly. When I drive the car, I'm only accummulating 4 - 5lbs.
