When my bank account exceeds all logic, I'll gladly buy one for special occasions. Beautiful car.

I believe he said, he works at Fletcher Jones MB in Newport Beach. I've only been there for service once, and it's probably the nicest MB dealer I have ever seen, from the POV of a parts/service/sales operation.

I took the factory tour in 1972 and while walking through the facilities, there was a black 600 body sitting off to the side. It was completely bare and just waiting to be adorned with all those special parts. It was an incredible sight.

Riverside to Newport Beach would be quite a commute.
LOL, I'm glad you see my pain of a commute. I did leave out at what shop this car is being serviced at, Cascade you are correct it is Fletcher Jones in Newport Beach. Employed there for just short of 2 years and I must say its been one of the cleanest and professional shops I have ever worked with. It may have its cons, but for the large volume of service its inevitable for a goof to happen. Last year during the summer there was an average of 400 vehicles being written for service a day with about 120 technicians total.
