If you are talking about the diaphragm for the vacuum governor on the back of the injection pump, the dealer had them for around $75 a couple years ago. Had also checked with and aftermarket parts suppliers and they were not much cheaper than the dealer.

Did some checking. The part number for the injection pump diaphragm for a 1974 240D, body 115.117, engine 616.916, is 000 075 06 07. This diaphragm is located a the top rear of the injection pump. There is also a gasket, part number 001 074 23 80. Checked my records, and the price was $75.60 from the dealer, but that was back in 2002 (can't believe it was that long ago). Hope this helps.
