I noticed some wear on my power steering return hose and ordered a new hose to fix it. I got the old hose off but couldn't convince the new one to slide onto the reservoir and pump fittings. The pump fitting is difficult to get at, blocked by main vacuum line and upper oil cooler hose.
Does any one have a trick or advice for replacing this hose without taking the rest of the engine apart? Is is possible that the online supplier has supplied a hose with an ID that is too small, or are these supposed to be next to impossible to fit?
