Larger, newer merc engines in W115

Just wanted to know what my options were as far as putting in a later model 380SEL engine into my car... I have little experience with the merc engines and their fitting. My main concern is engine mounting. A gearbox crossmember is easy to fabricate, and I have mates who will fab up a driveshaft to the already 3.9:1 ratio diff. There are a ton of people in my local area wrecking good 380SEL's for REALLY cheap, probably pick up engines for $500 with gearbox and all the stuff I need.

I currently am running a GM(Holden 173cu" 2.85L) six cylinder with 350 Holley and a few bits and pieces, and it really isnt what I am looking for. I also want to have a nice merc engine in there to keep it original and a V8 would be nice too =)
