Labor Cost Has To Do With Where You Live. In Other Words, What Your Labor Rate Per Hour Is In Your Surrounding Area. Call A Local Shop Ask Flat Rate To Replace Chain, Tensioner And All Guides. Then Ask Labor Rate Per Hour.

I was wondering if someone could give me a rough estimate, maybe someone that has had it done before. I have someone that is going to change it out for me and I was wanting an idea of about how much it would cost before going into it.......to know if he was giving me a good deal or not...........................

For what it's worth it cost me €825 which is about $1,000. That included a new chain, tensioner and one of the guide rails. Fitting was 4 hours at €78 per hour.
The pricing wont meant diddly unless you live in Ireland but I'd guess 4 hours is reasonable to do it. There is a cheaper option of feeding the new chain in with just the timing cover removed if you think it is only the chain that has stretched. I would guess a couple of hours for this approach.

Well in Karachi, Pakistan it is about 46 to 50 US Dollars.
And the coated plate on which it moves is roughly US $20.
