75-76 300d mpg

Hi -

I've been looking at a couple of these b/c I like the old style w114-5 car but wanted the bigger engine. That said, what kind of mpg should one hope for out of such a car? I do mostly city driving, unfortunately.

For city diving, depending on how bad the traffic is I would say 20 MPG to be conservative and assuming the engine is in good shape.

i range from 18 city to 20 mixed. i managed a 60 mile run at 25 mpg at 65 mph. the distance is not truly enough to be exact but i employed as much scientific method as possible with 59.5 of the miles on the highway. on B20 if your curious.
