I just put in a Pertronix electronic ignition and a new flamethrower coil. I went through Pertronix to get the right model for my distributor. You can get the distributor number by using a mirror without pulling the distributor although pulling the distributor only takes a few seconds. I highly recommend getting Pertronix to help you to save from having to send it back if you get the wrong model. My car runs great now and no more points to deal with.

Yeah, I've got a pertronix setup too and haven't had any issues whatsoever. Crane also makes kits...
