heater & window issues

i have a 1973 280C (gas)

HEAT
so when I turn on the heat the passenger side blows warm (the dash blower, and the defrost)

but the driver side only blows cold air!

where should I start looking? just thaught it was odd that one side is warm the other side cold!

WINDOWS

both rear windows are in the up position. neither one will work! the two front windows do work, but they move VERY slow! (takes almost a full min for the window to go down). the switch;s on the center console and the switches in the back seat will not move the windows either, i made sure the window lock button was not engaged! any help with this? I thauht trying to use a working(one of the ones for the front window) switch to see if it is the switch (all fuses seem to be good ), but unsure how to remove the switch from the center console!

again, I am very new to all of this.. so please dumb down your answers for me! (thanks, I dont know much about cars! but gotta start to learn sometime!)

Not sure on the heat thing - but if you find out, i would love to know. Regarding your windows, I'm looking for an alternative to mine as they are extremely slow although they do all work.

If you have a wire tester, I would pull off the rear panels (gotta take the back seat out!) and see if there is any power going to the motor. Do the windows go down using the rear switches? If not, then it's likely the motor is dead or there is no power to it.

I think these motors are just old and slow, and need replacing on mine.. I won't be able to live with that slowness it makes me insane.
