new here newbie Question

Hi. everyone,

I'm from Los Angeles Ca. and pretty much new to these cars I was looking into purchasing one very soon.

question is I love the Finbacks, And is this standard on all the vintage Mercedes?,
reason I ask is that someone is selling a 1966 4dr 4 speed Column shift and runs like a champ all for $800.00.
says no rust interior is white and is super clean and exterior is blue, paint is so. so. , any tips or advice would be helpful
thanks again
klay

Rust is the biggest issue. Check behind the front wheels, in the trunk spare tire wells and at the door bottoms.

Be aware, you will have to check and probably replace the rubber suspension bits, subframe mounts, sway bar mounts and link buffers, rear axle mounts.

Parts are available so don't worry. Check here on this web site and Mercedesshop as well as the MBCA club forums for tips.

The W108 cars and the W111 cars share many parts, except the obvious body panels.

Not part of the in-crowd since 1952. It's BRAKES not breaks. You break a bone, use brakes to stop your car. /rant
