engine problems 220 or 250

hello. i have a 1966 unimog fitted with the 2.2 ltr straight 6 motor low compresion. i am about to change the engine for a different one, i have found 2 possabilities, the first is a 1963 220 type car staight 6 twin carb, i was wandering what would be the power output of the engine and similarities to the unimog engine, they are both the m180 .
secondly the 1970 250 is the 2500 engine same again staight six twin carb, what is the power output and similarities to my own ?, i am led to believe its a m130 type ?. is this true ?.
can any one help me please.
both the cars are rot boxes about to be crushed in my local scrapyard, i can save them both for parts if they are worth breaking and exporting bits.
thanks again for help provided
dave

Dave ,if you are going to repower your unimog, why not use a 5 cylinder Diesel?
Did you know that M180 engines are availble new in the UK?.

I would imagine it would be far cheaper to buy a new engine and fit it rather than reco a worn out engine of unknown quality from a wreck. The later m130 is a m180 bored out.the 250 has rep for crank failures in severe use ,such as in a Unimog ,and the 280 blows headgaskets in the same circumstances.
I have a mate who publishes "practical performance car magazine" and he has a 280 engine running on LG gas that may be for sale.
